Vidor Animal Control – Vidor, Texas

The Vidor Animal Control Department’s fundamental duty is to enforce local and state laws, investigate allegations of cruelty to animals, and to educate the public in the prevention of animal bites and the transmission of animal related diseases. These include diseases that spread from animal to animal, as well as animal to human. We cannot stress how important it is to have animals vaccinated yearly against rabies. We also help educate the public on the importance of having animals spayed or neutered. There is such an overpopulation of unwanted pets. Millions of dogs and cats are euthanized in shelters each year.
